Upton by Chester Tennis Club is affiliated to the LTA and British Tennis. We encourage our members to register with British Tennis to take advantage of the benefits available, including the Wimbledon Ballot for tickets to this unique sporting event.

If you are thinking of playing tennis regularly, whether for fitness, competition (our teams are in the Chester & District League), or to be part of the club's social side, there is no better value membership or a friendlier club to be found in the region.
All ages and levels of skill are welcome.

Anual Membership Fees for new members: Family : £150 Adult : £85 Student : £55 Junior : £45 ( over 12 years on 1st April ) £10 ( under 12 years on 1st April ) Membership fees can be paid by direct bank transfer: Bank: Lloyds Bank Account Name: Upton Tennis Club Sort Code: 30-99-50 Account No: 20879163 Important N.B. : For an alternative method of paying memberships, please pay by cheque or cash to Nicola on Sunday afternoons (see below) at the courts. You will still need to submit a completed Membership Application Form whichever way you pay. Please either e-mail the completed form to Nicola at uptontcnicola@gmail.com or hand cash/cheque to Nicola at the courts during club hours. Club Hours : Wednesday mornings - 10am til 12 noon (one court ) Wednesday evenings - 6pm til 9pm Thursday evenings - 6pm til 8pm Sunday afternoons - 4pm til 7pm League Matches : Home : Wednesday evenings - 6pm Away : Day depends on host club - 6pm ( full schedule for 2024 listed separately ) Coaching: The club does not provide any specific tennis coaching although a qualified LTA registered coach is available at the Upton Tennis Courts, enquire at the Pavillion.
